I'd bet the 41 is causing the rich running.

The 14 is prob the key to the idle.

You say the ball joint is bad, did you check the rest of ther steering? Tie rods and that, somewhere in there could be the vibration. Along with the tires as mentioned.

so should i replace the primary o2 sensor and clean/replace the iacv and that should fix the high idle and the rich mixture correct? what about the vtec? could that be due to the oil level just getting a little too low or is that a problem and why the vtec kicks in at 4000 rpm?

yeah the upper ball joint on passenger side is COMPLETELY shot. i imagine it is a big problem but what i don't understand is why is it sometimes a bad vibration and sometimes not? everything else seems worn but not shot but i'm gonna go ahead and replace both upper ball joints on the front suspension.

I have a Denso primary O2 sensor for my 95 EX that I didn't get a chance to install before I sold my accord. I never took the sensor out of plastic bag in the box. It is a direct plug in, so you will not have to splice into anything.

Send me a PM if you want to buy it, because I don't need it anymore.

So I took it to a different tire shop ( one of my buddies who's a serious gearhead said his friends worked there) and I leaned some new things. I actually have an h22a4 and the vibration was from 3 out of 4 wheels not being properly balanced. But now that I have that solved my car is running like ****. Check engine light makes a clicking sound coming from behind the dash and when I try to run the codes to see why its on it just makes erratic flashes and will not repeat. Sometimes the flashes are a series of long ones but longer than the normal ones that stand for 10s. Sometimes its a series of short flashes similar to the blips that stand for 1s. It's running super rich and getting horrible mpg. Also the car acts like it redlines at 3500rpm and idles around 500 rpm sometimes it dies its hard to start won't start without me giving it throttle. I recently attempted to clean the iacv.

I would disconnect the battery and clean all ends of both battery cables. You should try to figure out how the H22 engine was wired on your car. Was the stock accord wire harness modified? Was the ECU wired up properly. You may want to find an H22 swap guide to see what needs to be done for the swap.
