94 Accord Manual Transmission Leaks

94 Accord Manual Transmission Leaks
I have a 94 Accord with a manual transmission & it started to leak transmission oil from the right axle. This started to happen when I replaced the right side cv joint. I thought it was driveaxle seal & replaced the seal but the transmission is still leaking. The leak is coming from inside the transmission but i dont know where is it coming from exactly. Does anyone have an idea of where could this leak be coming from?

you replaced the passenger side drive shaft or the intermediate shaft?
my bad i read wrong, there is just a drive shaft on passenger side.
there is a differential oil seal that will leak if you dont set the shaft in right

Search jydxpsh13WQ on YouTube on how to replace CV joint. It could be possible that you damaged the clip on the end of the CV joint.
Is fluid leaking from that seal you replaced?
Just to be thorough, you said the right CV joint, is that the passenger side?

The leak is coming from the seal I replaced which is the passenger side.. I replaced the seal twice with a new seal & i also exchanged the passenger axle twice with new axles. Do you know if there is a seal or o-ring inside the transmission that might have broken? Thank you.

Tek310, I think that i have the shaft set in right. I have checked this very carefully. I think that the differential oil seal that you told me about could be the cause of the leak. What do you think. Do you know what needs to be done to replace the differential oil seal? Thank you.

I don't think there is a seal inside, but I never took apart a transmission. I remember reading about a bearing for the differential that could cause a leak.
Here is one that came up with a quick search:

You can look for other threads dealing transmission leaks.

i just finished manual transmissions at UTI so its still pretty fresh in my memory. also have the honda shop manual here
for the passenger side drive shaft you were actually supposed to drain the differential oil.
once it starts leaking its hard to stop.
also how did you install that oil seal? there is a bearing right behind it that you will probably have to replace.
you need to use a specific tool to apply even pressure to the seal or you will distort it and cause uneven contact points and it will leak.
DO NOT use a ball peen hammer to tap it in. guarantied to leak.
i have some shop manual pages for you. one min

yes drain the gear oil and differential oil before disassembly.
be sure not to over tighten those drain and fill plugs, they only need to be lightly fastened. i can get tq specifications but they are in inch./lbs thats how lightly it needs to be tightened. its easy to overtighten and cause a leak at those points
if you cant get a oil seal driver, then a socket will have to do. its not recommended and could still damage the seal.
here is a exploded view of the differential. can you see that seal right behind the oil seal to the driver side output?
lets hope thats not damaged. you have to take the diff out to fix that.
also attached are the tools for the job

Maybe it wasn't the axle seal that was leaking, did you look higher up ? I replaced my right axle seal before because it was leaking, but the leak is still there, i looked at it closely and found out the the leak is actually coming out from the "shifter shaft" seal which locates on top of the tranny and drip down to the axle seal. I haven't fix it yet because i'm kind of lazy right now lol, but i pay close attention to the fluid level now. Don't know if the seal could be purchase separately or i have to buy an overhaul kit for it.

Thank you piggylover1985 for your input. I am very sure the leak is not coming from anywhere else. I found a good used transmission for $400. I think i am going to buy it & keep the original one for rebuilding it later. Thank you all for your help.
