94 EX 4cyl V-tec Starting Problems
That G101 you were asking - if you look on the middle sheet that you posted - G101 is one end of the black wire and it's attached to the intake manifold by a screw, it's a ground point.
However, you need to set the meter on ohms, low scale, and touch the leads meake sure it reads zero. Then measure between pin 3 and ground.
The setting you used 200vdc is to measure voltage, and will not work to check continuity.

Many meters also have a "continuity" setting that will beep when you touch the leads together. Use that setting & it'll beep when you touch the leads to pin 3 & ground.
The intake manifold & fuel pump aren't really tied together for functional wiring. The manifold is just a handy place to bolt a whole bunch of ground wires to get a good solid electrical ground. The designer could have bolted them to the fender, or to the negative battery post.

Gotchya - thanks for the info - i'll slowly get better at wiring.
UPDATE:
Got the car back - he swapped out the computer (ECM) and it started right up.
things the mechanic mentioned:
-the following dash indicator lights would stay on once key was turned to the II position with the old computer in:
-check engine
-ABS
-D4 (blinking)
The check engine light never threw any codes, but the transmission threw many according to him. he cleared them out and only two reappeared - shifting..something or other and the engine computer.
my input: no light ever stayed on once started and running and i too got no codes to show up
Once the mechanic put in the other ECM only the ABS light will stay in the II position.
The transmission still acts the same. However, when i was driving home i noticed an electrical whining noise coming from the ECM area every time i pushed the pedal past a certain point and i was above 2500 rpm. i never noticed this before. I determined that it does not do it in nuetral, so would it be transmission related?
The problems i am having are jerky shifts (common anyway i know), but also slips a little going into 4th and downshifts into 1st way early and at wrong times it seems. I have drained and flushed the tranny fluid twice now with genuine honda fluid roughly 2 months apart - total only 7 months ago or so. So my question - what could this noise be? is it the new (to me) ECM or transmission related?
Also, i tried out the remote start and it still works, but there is a noise coming from the brain during crank. (i am uncertain if it always made this noise because i was never in the car during remote start) Then right after it starts there is another noise coming from the engine compartment - i mentioned it earlier (someone thought it was the ABS pump)
Anyone have a similar alarm (autopage 727lcd) that can help me out?
Can someone help me out with all these noises?
