94 LX new cv leaking tranny fluid! Help!

Default 94 LX new cv leaking tranny fluid! Help!

Installed an Advance GSP driver side cv on Friday and when I drove down the street to test it I was getting a " thump - thump" sound so I went back and uninstalled and reinstalled paying a bit more attention for a snap- lock sound which really never came but I played with it until I felt good about its seating in the tranny. Now it drives great, smooth and silky ... buut, its leaking from the spline into tranny area. I filled it with 9 frreakin dollar a quart honda fluid and its gone. 3 quarts or atleast enough to not register on my dipstick. Is there anything I can do to remedy this? As many times as I pushed this thing back and forth going for the lock I should have gotten it. Frustrated..

You probably damaged the seal on the transmission. It isn't too difficult to replace.
