95 Accord Grumbles at low acceleration
1995 Honda Accord 4 Door Sedan Automatic
Quick acceleration from a stop is fine.
Gentle acceleration from a stop, or driving at low speeds (hello 405 Freeway) it "grumbles" like a teenager.
Doesn't hesitant or pause before acceleration, just is sort of cranky about it with a very, very low level of vibration. Once it gets out of first gear it runs fine.
Oil changed 2 wks ago - this started several days after.
Only drive 3000-4000 mi/yr.
Last tune up and Major Service a few yrs ago, but itcertainly under the mileage recommendation.
Any help is appreciated. I don't have the funds to get lots of "it could be ___" work done, I need to know what needs to be done to make sure I have the $ to pay for it before I take it in.
Thank you!

We'll try to give you things to check out before buying parts. (That's called DIAGNOSING as opposed to randomly throwing part$$ at it.)
Pull the sparkplug wires. Any oil down in those holes? That would indicate you need new sparkplug-tube seals (part of the valve cover gasket "set").
Do you know what brand/type sparkplugs were used? Hondas like NGK the best.
Check for arcing at the plug wires or distributor. Very early in the morning, in complete darkness, with the engine COLD. Open the hood, turn off all the lights, start the engine. Look for arcing, even a dull blue glow. Any of that would indicate your spark is "leaking" out through bad insulation on the wires/cap/whatever. Let us know what you find.

Also, you could clean the EGR ports on the intake manifold.
