95 Accord Overheating- ive chged evrything!
Pull the plugs, use the crank bolt and put the engine at TDC #1. Pull the upper cover for the TB - you have to lift the VC....check the cam gear marks to be sure they are lined up. You can cover a bit of a mechanical timing with the dist but if it is off by too much, using the dist is not going to get the car "right.
Since you have the plugs out, inspect them and it they have any signs of wear - replace with a set of NGK's (maybe ~$3 each?).
Also be sure you "jump" the service the service connector when adjusting the timing by the dist.

Yeah, It's gonna have to be redone, off timing, possible compression issues due to off timing. Thank you Jim!
