Default 95 Accord window problem

Hi, I have a 95 Accord EX(194k) with a window problem. The driver's side window has a very hard time going up. You have to assist the window with your hand for it to close. We disassembled the door, and removed the window, and the motor works fine. Also, if the rubber windowchannel is lubed up, it will work perfectly.
How do I check to see if the motor is going, or is this a problem with the window binding in the channel?

Thank You!
David

i think you fixed it by lubing the channel...

Yes, it works fine when its lubricated, but after a day or so, its back to normal.

What did you use as a lube? I had this problem and used silicone spray lube as suggested on this site and it has worked great for the last month.
