95 Rear main crankshaft seal replacement and what else could be done while it's open?
Hi, have a 95 Accord 2.2 liter V-tech with automatic transmission. Just had the the v-tech spool valve filter replaced and the distributor shaft o-ring replaced and still have an oil leak. It pools around the transmission casing not sure if it is the rear main crankshaft seal but if it is, want to be prepared. If you had this work done, while everything is apart would you replace any other seals or filters? This is a big job and if something can be replaced while everything is apart sure seems like it would be less expensive than to do it individually.

You've had other threads on this, & it seems like you've been trying to rule out any & all leaks outside of the rear main. Cleaning it up REAL GOOD is important, look for any other possibilities.
I'm not going to review everything you did previously, but just ask that you go back over & see if there's anything we asked you to check that you overlooked.
Replacing the seal is relatively easy. After the tranny is out of the car... ;-)
