Default 97 accord 2.3 AT engine cluster, windows and park syl inop Really need help

Transmission speed sensor wires were burned and shorted. replaced sensor and repaired wires but engine cluster, windows and shift doesn't work. All fuses check good. where should I check next?

Does the car start and run?

If it does, re-check the under dash fuses 9, 4 and 1.

Yes it starts and runs. I have to put a key in the lock to get it out of park though. This all happened after the wires originally shorted together at the transmission sensor. I will recheck the fuses. Thanks

Ok, it sounds like more wires might be burnt.....fuses all good, underhood and underdash.

Got a voltmeter and some time? Also suggest a good service manual so you have pic's and diagrams to follow.

well the Haynes manual is worthless for this problem. Any suggestions for wiring diagrams?

There is an "online" manual for a 94 UK 2 dr car that can be had for free. I have the actual book version (thanks john) for the US 95......now there was a "gen split" between the 94-95 vs the 96-97.

If you download the one for the 94 it will help......

Just me but I'd like to start with the windows, pretty simple circuit (IMHO) and not too hard to remove the master switch and test/back probe a few wires.

Would need to know how many "doors" your car has to get things right? Pretty sure there are post floating around here on testing the window circuit but is you can't find them that is fine.....just let us know what you need.

what does the gauge cluster, park solenoid and windows have in common? would it be a pcb? or maybe the main computer? whatever it is effects several different circuits. I'm still trying to find prints online. Thanks

I'd start with the windows, pretty simple circuit.

Need to know if this is a 2 or 4 door car. With that we'd be able to tell you wich wire(s)/pin numbers should be "hot" when the key is on/pos II
