This code is for the secondary oxygen sensor that is downstream. It will be bolted into your catalytic converter or just after it.

I would say that you may want to test the resistance for the heater circuit. I think the electrical connector is under the driver's seat.

The car will still run fine without replacing that sensor. That sensor is for emissions on your car.

Denso makes the OEM sensor for your car. If you look at densoaftermarket.com, you may be able to order your part online that is an exact match for what you can buy through the parts dealer.

Denso is Honda OEM O2 sensor brand. Sometimes, people replace their O2 sensor with a Bosch and the code still remains until they change it to a Denso. Denso also last a very long time.

On a side note, there was an independent Honda mechanic that mentioned to me (on another forum) that he found some Bosch O2 sensors to be repackaged Denso sensors.

I found that once... I've bought Bosch O2 sensors before for the VWs & Saabs and they were actually Bosch sensors. When I got one from AutoZone for a Honda (I think it was for the 95 Integra) the Bosch carton contained a Denso O2 sensor.
