Default 97 Accord LX 2.2 4 cyl

Need some help guys. Just pulled the spark plug boots out of valve cover and they are covered in oil. I assume a seal has failed. Thanks.

There is a DIY writeup about that.

Get the valve cover gasket and the seals that go on top of each tube. Its a pretty simple replacement.

sometimes it is also the seals at the bottom of the tube.

Spark plug tube seals and rocker stand seals

Thanks guys. Looks like a full weekend with seal repairs, rear shoes and condenser fan on same car and front brake pads on my suburban.
