97 Accord LX AC/Heat Controls
I don't know if I am going crazy today or something. I've been noticing things I've had for a minute and now can't tell if they're supposed to be that way or not.
This morning I noticed the air flow controls for my AC/Heater stay on even when I turn the air condition or heater off. Air flow controls - you know where you set where you want the air to come from; floor, dashboard vent etc. I thought it was 'cause my lights were on. But nah, my lights were off.
Are those air flow control lights supposed to stay on even when you turn the air condition completely off? Only time the lights go off is when I turn the car off.
I can take pix on my lunch and show what I'm talking about. Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks.

Yeah, they're supposed to stay where they are, regardless of switching AC on & off.
When you turn the blower-speed all the way off to zero, the AC should refuse to turn on. But even then, the air direction should stay. Drive fast-enough, and the air will come out the proper place.
