Default 97 Accord Tranny slipping sensation

Hi everyone, ok so heres whats my problem, i bought a preowned 97 accord with a bad trans. I replacedthe trans as well as the torque converter. Reason being is the old owner said it would neutral out in all forward gears but would reverse in reverse. its still doing the same thing, I'm thinking it's something electrical. Can someone please help me with this issue. Thank you

What do you mean by "neutral out" ?

Did you install the transmission or did a shop do it?

How did you install the torque converter? Did you bolt the torque converter to the flex plate first or vice versa?

By neutral out I mean I have it in gear and I press the throttle and it's as if its in neutral and I did the.work the torque converter clicked in 3 times the converter bolts lined up with the flex plate there were 8 converter bolts. My last step was bolt the converter to the flexplate.

Check for codes and let us know if there are any. From there test the solenoids and the connectors.

The trans in the 5th gen (94-97, like you have) are pretty solid. So two bad ones is hard for me to understand.

Sounds like it could be the transmission, possibly. Did you get a warranty?
