I own a 97 accord lx 4 cyl. without abs. rotors on front and drums on rear.
My problem is that the brake pedal goes to the floor I already replace the following :
master cylinder, power brake booster,rear shoes and rear cylinders. I already bleed the whole system and still the same problem, I had a leaking proportioning valve which I also replace. Also I just check my front pads today and it seems that only one front wheel is braking because one pad is almost new and the other is almost metal could the caliper be my problem? any help will help thanks

 

Fist of all, was is a OEM Honda Master Cylinder? I have heard some aftermarket Master Cylinders have incorrect plunger lengths.
Second: I would definitely make sure the pads were equal. i.e. replace BOTH this time.

 

Did you bench-bleed the new master cylinder? You may still have air in the system.

 

I assumed if he bled the entire system correclty, it would have still gotten that air out, regardless of bench bleeding. But it would take a lot longer to bleed the entire system if he did not bench bleed the MC.

I've replaced MC without bench-bleeding. I bled the whole system (all 4 corners) and it LOOKED like all the air bubbles stopped coming out. But the brakes were very soft.

So I bled it again. I bled lots of fluid through all 4 corners, and eventually I got a bunch of additional air bubbles, then it was OK. The thing is, all that fluid you waste (without bubbles) makes you think you're finished.
