97 Problem
I have a 97 accord f22b1 vtec and it seems to bog when I first give it gas like it takes a second to go.. the cable is tight so the reaction time is good... could it be the spark plugs?? they prob havent been changed in years or am I way off of what is causing it? Please help
how many miles are on it? i had one that had over 200,000 and the intake had never been cleaned. after i cleaned it everything worked, try cleaning it and running some seafoam through the car also. and if the plugs have not been changed in YEARSm then yea i would change them as well.
Spark plugs are a normal maintenance thing, so it won't hurt to get new ones.
If the throttle cable is too tight, and the throttle doesn't completely close when you release the gas pedal, that can do it. Check a thread in DIY about setting the "base idle".
