I may sound stupid but where is the banjo nut? I have a full tank of gas and it did it again at lunch. yesterday I parked under shade and I had no problems.

Did you try listening for the fuel pump? If no fuel pump noise is heard when you turn keyswitch to ON, there's no point checking for fuel pressure.

Banjo bolt is the large bolt (17mm usually) that holds the end of fuel line from fuel supply to the fuel rail. There is an aluminum washer underneath it. Don't loose it! Bolt will be tight. There may be a small ( 12mm) bleeder bolt on the fuel rail also. It may be easier to reach and crack open.

good lukc

Thanks for all your help. It has been 1 week since I fixed the solder joints on the main relay and no problems with starting. The temp with the heat index has been arounf 120 degrees.

Great! Glad it was fixed and sounds like it was a simple thing for you to repair, it's always good to hear when something works out!

read the manual before you take someones advise!!! it recommends 89 shell for your 98' accord, if we have the same owners manual, and i bet we do.
