Default 98 HOnda Accord Ex Cruise COntrol

I noticed that when I put the cruise control, I hear a click noise below the steering wheen. When I take off the cruise the sound goes away. Does any one know what causes this?

providing it's not a constant clicking noise when it's engaged chances are it's just a sensor kicking over that you are hearing...

The clicking is actually the vent and vacuum solenoids clicking in the cruise control actuator that is on the driver's side inner fender.I only hear mine at slow speeds, but I have gotten used to it. It is not a problem, just a bit noisy.
