Default 98' Honda Accord EX CYL Acceleration Problems - CODES

Here are the codes that were triggered.

P0171
P0763
P1705
P1298

Hopefully they're all related. The transmission does not slip, but the car sometimes struggles 0-20.

Thanks.

Car is automatic 4CYL

P0171 = system too lean
P0763 = auto-trans; stuck in 4th
P1705 = AT; no shift except 2-3; L-U-Clutch not engaging
P1298 = ELD high voltage

Reset your ECU & see if they ALL come back (or have you already done that?)

I'm no expert on auto-trans.

ELD = electrical load detector. It's built into the engine-compartment fusebox. It measures electrical loads so the engine can do a better job holding a steady idle.

Reset the codes, and my check engine light HAS NOT come back on. It doesn't seem to be driving funny anymore, but it was suggested that I change my transmission fluid.

Thanks,

Changing your trans fluid isn't a bad idea just from general good-maintenance.

Occasionally a low system voltage (flaky battery??) will trigger strange errors that never come back.
