Default 99Accord PS pressure hose-lesson learned

Replaced the hose yesterday. The thing I did right was the purchase of a set of crowsfoot flare nut wrenches for $20 +tax at O'Reilly's. The PS flare nuts are easily visible from on top...99Accord PS pressure hose-lesson learned-imgp0225-1.jpg and from the wheel well...99Accord PS pressure hose-lesson learned-imgp0226-1.jpg.My arm would not fit from the top but using the 14mm wrench was easy form the side...99Accord PS pressure hose-lesson learned-imgp0228-1.jpg.

Instead of driving 22 miles to the Honda dealership, I went to NAPA and got the part and after much aggravation took it back ( the shape was all wrong). I then ordered the non-VTEC version at O'Reilly's(the shape looked right). I put that in but probably should have taken it back.
Why? 1) the bends had to be rebent as much as 30 deg to fit,
2) the pressure switch fitting is a 90 not a 45...wires are taut,
3) flare wrench size is 9/16" not 14mm and
4) adding insult to injury, I could have saved $10-$15 at dealer.
I hope I remember this next time which probably won't be long from now as this old thing is constantly springing leaks.
