Default ABS light on, ABS still works

I have been searching online, but haven't found any answers. My wife drives a 2013 Accord LX. A few weeks ago she called me and said the ABS, slip, TPMS and the steering wheel light all came on and wanted to know if it was safe to drive home. She said it was driving fine, and I said to drive it home. I have a higher end code reader that does ABS and air bag codes so I figured I would read the codes when she got home. I hooked my code reader up and it said Error-are you sure the vehicle has ABS system. The lights mostly have stayed on since then and the car drives fine. I have noticed though, that when I brake firmly on sand or gravel the ABS system still pulses the brakes. Any ideas at all? The lights have been out a couple times, but I haven't had my scanner with me and by the time we got home the lights were back on.

Ok, for whatever reason, I had two user names, one with 360 and one without. This is the original poster. PAhonda, the car is a 2013 Honda Accord LX with the 2.4 liter engine. I did borrow another reader from a friend and it gave me codes 66-11 and 66-13, if they mean anything.

66-11 is a pressure sensor in the abs/vsa module. 66-13 isn't listed. With those internal VSA modulator codes the fix is to replace the whole modulator unit. You may find on the web possible DIY repairs/seal replacements on them.
