Default Annoying Clutch Pedal Noise Solved

I just registered today and this is my first thread. I hope that I am not breaking any rules or anything with this post.

Do you have a Honda with a manual transmission, and after a couple of years driving it you noticed a slight squeak like noise coming from the pedal??? The more you drive your car the louder and more annoying the clutch pedal becomes when releasing it. After an extensive search online for the answer, I noticed that other people had the same issue as I did, but none were very helpful. Some talked about opening the hood and taking off the parts and lubricating them. I did that, and it didn't work. So I inspected my entire clutch pedal system until I found the issue.

This is from my 2007 Honda Accord 4cyc 5MT

Symptom = Releasing the clutch pedal makes a squeak\squeal noise.

Diagnosis = Lubricate this

I am not sure of the name of this part is, but essentially it pushes a rod like part when pressing the pedal to engage the clutch.

Take off the plastic black cover

Then locate the silver tube like shaft like in the first picture.

After that press in on the clutch pedal all the way down and you will notice that the inner part of it moves inward creating a open area inside of it as seen in this picture.

Put the lubricant of your choice inside that tube while open (Clutch pedal pressed). I used PB Blaster because its a penetrating catalyst based lubricant and I wanted the entire area lubricated along with dirt and dust dissolved at the same time. That stuff's the best in my opinion.

After I sprayed PB Blaster inside of the hole, I let go of the pedal so that the part inside can move and get lube in it, then I pressed it again and put more lube inside of it again.

After that I very quickly noticed that my pedal was not making that noise and that it was easier to push in
(just by a little) and smoother too.

I drove around to every stop sign and red light I could find. I am excited to say that this is in fact the issue.

So if you let go of your clutch pedal slowly as if you were taking off in first gear, as an example, and you have a squeak/Squeal noise, then take it from me, this works wonders.
