Default Automatic shifter lights

Hi All, I have a '97 accord and have a question about the automatic shifter lights next to the center cup holders. Are they suppose to light up? Mine don't and I can't remember if they are suppose to. If they are, is there a bulb or fuse that can be replaced?

Thanks

The 94 Accord shop manual shows a single 1.4w lamp (AT Gear Position Console Light) that could be replaced. It is activated w/ the combination light switch on the steering column. You will need to remove the console to access. Unless you have a lot of other lights out, the fuse is OK.

good luck
