bad water pump?

Default bad water pump?

95 accord v6

can anyone confirm that the arrow in the picture points to a weep hole for the water pump? i'm new to hondas.

That looks like it is the weep hole. In the parts blowup below, the hole to the right of the number 20 and above the number 2 looks to be the weep hole.

Hopefully your timing belt is due soon for a change, then you can kill two birds with one stone.

whats a typical price a shop would charge to do this whole job pump and belt?

its the pump, to do the pump and timing belt expect to pay anywhere between 600 to 800. i usually get 4.5 hrs to do the job at 70 an hour plus parts.

thanks i appreciate the help. a reputable shop estimated 600 and i'm having them do it on friday. 2 other estimates came in at 850. better them than me, it dosent look like a fun job haha
