What vehicle is this on. I see that you have 3 listed in your garage.

Brand new alt... brand new battery... old alt was tested and was bad according to autozone...

Fuses all good... brand new battery terminals...

Have the new battery/alternator tested at autozone. You want to rule out a bad part out of the box.

And you can "kind of" test it youself. What is the voltage "at" the battery while running....I like to see something in the 14.5 range. Then you can check "at" the alt output lug. Of course the belt is tight and not slipping.

EDIT: most places-autozone-can check that/stuff without having to remove everthing and bring it to them-but that does not rule out a slipping belt.

Belt is tight like a virgin lol... been driving with battery light on for 4 days..160 miles a day commute. All lights are bright and work fine. No summing of any kind. Car starts just as it dis before these issues.

All connections are tight, and clean on new alt.

The new alt came with paperwork, something about the charging system.. saying if it does jot charge the battery check ecu and something else... I lost the paper like a dummy... my ecu is good. What other components are there in the charging system? Battery, alt, and......?

I would do steps one and two on this page I referenced below. I don't think that you will have the tools to do step 3.

Just copy and paste into your browser.

What is the voltage at the bat when running. What is the voltage at the "main" cable of the alt while the car is running. What are you getting at the WHT/BLU wire on the alt when the car is running. What are you getting at the BLK/YEL wire of the ign switch....can you/did you stop by and have the parts store check it.

EDIT: once again, slow at typing....thanks PA
