ok,,,,,,,,plus are good. not the problem
new plug wires not the problem
new cap and rotor,,,,,,not the problem

YOU did use all Honda factory parts correct ???

injectors work........not the problem

compression ok........not the problem

mmmmmmm,, not too may things left,, going through the process of elimination that affects only 1 cylinder next thing i would do is to chk valve adjustment .
I forgot to ask you a very important question ...

Does engine have a miss on # 1 or just the code for # 1 misfire p0301 , comes up ??

if there is no miss on cyl # 1 ,, we are barking up the wrong tree ...it is not a mechanical problem ,,,

i was about to do the valve adjustment but if that would be the case would'nt it be on the whole time even if i was at upper elevation? and yes its only the code#1 misfire PO301 comes on,but i also notice a poor fuel economy along with the problem when my CEL is on so i keep resetting the code. i ended up borrowing my friends code reader for now so i can reset the light everytime it comes on. and that seems to help with fuel economy problem.
