Exclamation Bleeding Cooling System 4cyl 98 Accord?

My radiator is seeping but is still holding pressure somehow. I want to replace it anyways with a half size or aluminum one. I remember when I had a mechanic replace the radiator on my 95 Acura Legend, it would not idle properly because it had air in the system. He then cracked open a small valve near the top of the engine that let air out until coolant started shooting out. I was wondering if the accord had something like that because I am worried that there will be air trapped in the system after I replace my radiator. If there is no cooling valve, should I take the radiator cap off and let the engine run until the air is bled out that way? Any suggestions or advice?

Your 4 cylinder should have the bleed bolt.

Search the web under 1998 Accord owner's manual to see instructions.

Its located on the thermostat housing, roughly below the throttle body. Looks a bit like a brake-bleeder valve.

In any case, you can squeeze the radiator hoses when it's cold. Air pockets feel different, and make a bit of a sloshing sound that you could learn to recognize.
