BRAKE light on dashboard sticks?
2001 Accord, 4 cyl, 5 speed.
The dashboard BRAKE light on my Accord seems to be "sticking". I disengage the parking brake and it says on for a little while and then it will go off. It only seems to happen when it's "colder" out. Brake fluid level is fine.
For example: I work the overnight shift (6pm to 6am), when I leave in the afternoons (when it's warmer), the light might stay on for a minute, if it stays on at all. When I leave work in the early morning (when it's "cooler/colder) the light will usually stay on until I"m almost home (it's a 12 mile commute to the light might go off around 8-10 miles).
I fiddled with the parking brake (just pulling it from the inside) and that did nothing. I have to pass some rumble strips on the way home and a couple times it's gone off right after I went over them, which is why I think it's something "sticking" that sticks more when it's cold and then gets jarred loose after the rumble strips.
I haven't had a chance to get look at anything so far but figured I would get some feedback here first.
