Default brake light warning is on

2003 honda accord ex 4cly

I had changed my brake fluid about a week ago and noticed yesterday the brake light warning was on. i kno it was not on before i changed the brake fliud, how long after im not sure. So I checked the brake fluid and that was full and then I checked all the brakes and they are all good so I don’t kno what else it might be. And I how I could fix it. Any help would be greatly appreciated thank you.

What warning lamps, does it say "BRAKE LAMP"? That one's for burned-out bulbs at the back of the car.

Sometimes a brake light is getting flaky, and the wattage changes before it burns out completely. That warning comes from measuring wattage side-to-side, so if all the bulbs seem OK it may be that they just don't match each other.

This probably won't become a long detailed PROCEDURE, so I'll move it to General Tech where it belongs.

The sensor's in the side of the brake fluid reservoir. Check if it's pluged in or ??

Also, check the little switch at the handbrake lever - it might be bent or something.

you might have to replace the brake master cylinder ,,,not sure if you can get the sensor separately
