I was on the stoptech site today and noticed they had a bunch of centric pads and rotors. Is centric made by stoptech?
I also noticed the vehicle compatability is different from one site to the next. I looked on tire rack for brake pads and it said only stoptech were compatible with my 2011 ex I4. However when I went to other sites it said they were compatible.

I see some pads are ceramic, organic and others are ferro carbon.
I am in the midwest so whichever works best in sub zero temperatures and hot weather.
Which would work best for me?
Does one material last longer than another?

I just replaced the front pads on my 97 Accord, and used Duralast Gold Ceramic pads from Autozone for $55.00. These were the pads I also used last time and they lasted 46K miles. There was plenty of pad material left (about a 1/2 inch) on three of the four pads, but one pad was down to a 1/16 th of an inch or so and contacting the wear tell tale tab, so that caliper was probably not sliding correctly.

The good thing, they were lifetime warranty so I bought the second set, returned the set that had 46K miles on them and got my money refunded. Not a bad deal and very pleased with the quality.

Good luck whatever you choose!

I read somewhere that Stoptech buys premium rotors from Centric, then puts them on their machines to drill and slot them. Pretty sure that Stoptech doesn't cast rotors.
Personally, I would go with Centric Premium e-coated rotors, and Raybestos Pro grade pads with the anti-drag clips.
