Wow... When I first took off the fan blade from the old one and stuck it on the new motor and saw that i had to splice it and found that no air was coming out I thought well maybe I put it in incorrectly or maybe its a bad part so I pulled it out and turned it on and it spun fine. You mean to tell me that I might have the current going backwards? I'm no electrician so that never even crossed my mind...

Many of the aftermarket motors a bi-directional. So yes if the power and ground wires are switched, the motor will spin the "other" way.

Default Blower Spinning Backwards

So, I went out just now and flipped the wires around and voila. Beautiful A/C! Genius... I feel kind of dumb... The thing was though that I spliced in the blue wire with the blue wire and the black with the black. And generally whenever I've done any electrical it either works or it doesn't. Since it spun I figured it was working. I guess with motors though it's just the direction of the current that determines their rotation, like a drill with the right and left direction buttons... I love making new connections in my mind as to how things work. Thank you guys so very much for taking time to look over this. It has puzzled me for months... lol...
