I bought some STP intake cleaner and sprayed it inside of my fuel program injectors where the accelerator switch is located and for some reason, the interior of my car now smells like the STP. I have to keep my windows open when I leave it parked so I dont smell it in the morning. its been 2 days already and it still smells. I don't smell it when driving or when I turn on the fan cold/heat. Is it normal to smell for that long? How can I get rid of the smell? I would think that the cleaner would have dried up by now.

 

perhaps you got some on your clothes which in turn got some on the upholstery?

 

Maybe, I'll clean my car tomorrow and hopefully I'll find the source. Thanks =P
