Default Car won't start and no power to anthing but horn.

2000 Accord V6 182K miles .It's not the battery, tested it. My wife went to go to work and got nothing when she turned the key. I assumed it was the battery but when she hooked up the jumper box nothing happened, the horn came on with out being hit, I asked her to put it in neutral and it wouldn't move out of park But the brake lights do come on when you press the brake. I'm at a loss.

When you turn the key to the II position, do the radio, headlights, etc work?

Do the brake lights turn on when you hit the brake pedal?

Yes we

no dash lights, radio, no power locks,no nothing, but the horn works. I even charged the battery over night.

Check under-hood large fuses No. 41 (100A), No. 54 (40A), and No. 42 (50A).

There are two different type of large fuses in the under-hood fuse box.

Does the V6 of this generation have the bad interior fuse panel/multiplex unit like the 4 cylinders. I know on the 4 cylinders of his generation when there are all kinds of crazy problems it can be caused by the interior panel acting up and am wonder if this might be his issue. Honda has what I like to call the "guilty" price on the part. The last one I installed was about $34 dollars my price. The value of the fuses and the copper in them was worth more then the price they were selling it for.

I figure I would bounce the idea of the sounding board!
