Default Changing out my speed sensor

I have a 94 Accord Lx Coupe, 5 speed. How do I identify and remove the old speed sensor? I think it's on the tranny. Can someone give some basic intructions? Thanks in advance!

Are we talking about the VSS? See if the pic helps.....it will be almost right below the TB inlet. Removing the "air duct" will help in seeing it. I think one or two other things need to be moved to get at it, can't remember right now.

Yes, I'm sorry. Meant the VSS. Is that image you sent where it is located on this model? Cause someone told me that its located on the outside of the tranny.

Yes, it IS on the outside of the trans. That drawing shows it "as if" the distributor and thermostat were invisible & you're looking straight through them. The sensor is down lower & further back along that line-of-sight. It's roughly above the line of the front wheel axles.

That drawing sorta looks like an auto-trans. But the location of the VSS is the same on a manual-trans.
