check engine light on after cold air intake install

I have a 1990 accord and just installed a cai and reset the ecu after the install but the check engine light still comes on whats wrong?

I don't know what's wrong. Read the error code from the CEL & let us know what it is.

code 12 exhaust recirculation system (EGR)

Kind of sounds like port cleaning and or valve cleaning time......
