Default clutch slipping

my accord clutch has been slipping for past 10000 miles could this be related to fluid running very low recently or is it definitely on way out

Supply some details of vehicle.

Manual clutch shift, feel, and starting problems can be caused by bad slave or master cylinders. Look for leaks at both. Check inside vehicle for MC. OEM master cylinder is best to avoid having to adjust the booster push rod-master cylinder clearance.

good luck

Could it possibly be that the clutch is just worn out? What are we working with? Year/trim/engine/tranny/mileage in your sig per the forum rules, please.

Generally, problems with the clutch hydraulic system will not cause the clutch to slip. Sorta the opposite problem, it wont disengage reliably. So it DOES sound like a worn-out clutch.

But come on, tell us what kind of car... Honda has been making Accords since about 1977 & theyre not all the same.

I agree with JIm..........if clutch slips than it is not a low fluid issue ,, most likely clutch is worn
