I was taking a look at the windshield wiper blades on my 2008 Accord and I noticed what appears to be two cracks in each blade (in the plastic part that holds the rubber squeegy). I never noticed them before, but how often does one inspect one's wiper blades except when they are not wiping? First of all, are these actually cracks or is this how the wipers are designed? I am going to guess that they are cracks. Then I will ask, has anyone else had this problem? It has been really cold here the past couple of days. I am always sure to check that the wipers are not frozen to the windshield when I clean my car before I use them. Could they have cracked somehow?

We would need to see a picture to tell you for sure. Your best bet is to take it to the dealer and have them replace them under warranty.
