Anybody have any feedback or ideas???
Thanks
What was the actual trouble code number?

TPS is not in the dizzy. IIRC, it's on the throttle body for your car.

Well, if it's the TPS sensor that's bad you used to have to replace the whole throttle body, but now I think they do make an aftermarket kit to replace it. based on your symptoms now and what you've replaced already, it's either that or the ecm.

Check to see if the connector for the TPS got mixed up with the MAP sensor connector.

Default Thanks

When we did the swap I asked my mechanic to give me the extra parts from the JDM Engine. He gave me the Alternator, Power Steering Pump, Belts, Timing Cover, And the complete Throttle Body with both the MAP Sensor and the TPS sensor with the hex screws on it on it. I Already swapped out the MAP sensor just to see if that would help and of course only took 5 mins. It didn't help anything.
I'm thinking about swapping out the whole throttle body with the spare JDM one Instead of just swapping the TPS sensor.

Can I do that?
Will it be a problem?
Should I just swap the TPS Sensor?
How hard is it to swap the throttle body?

lovebug, start a new thread, so this one is not so confusing. Let us know what you have done so far on your car to repair the problem.

It was a combo of 2 seperate problems. It was my Crank Sensor and My Dizzy.
I bought a used junkyard crank sensor the first time..... I should have listened to my mechanic and got a new one...
Also dont buy a cheap $60.00 dolllar chinese ebay Crank Sensor, Its a waste of money and time.
Its alot of labor to change these things so get it right the first time
I ended up buying a " Beck Arnley" Crank Sensor from Rock Auto for about $150.00. Much better then $270.00 for an OEM. My mechanic told me it was a high quality brand.

I found a Complete Dizzy from a salvage yard on Ebay for $55.00. It was in great shape. I checked out the pics first. I just changed the outer O ring with the new one from my old Dizzy and changed the rotor.

Anyways after a huge headache my baby has been back on the road for about 3,000 miles now and running like a champ!

In the end it was a combo of my Crank Sensor and my Dizzy
Good Luck I hope this helps
