D4 Question
Car runs and drives fine...I notice that when it's colder out the D4 light is off when shifted into dive...its only for a couple seconds and then lights up. I Just bought the car and in warmer weather it dos not do this at all. On colder nights/mornings is when I notice it. Could this be a sign of "something bad is about to happen". Is there some tranny solenoids that need to be cleaned up...I notice a couple sets...one on top and one on the side. Car is a 1994 Honda Accord EX with the 2.2 vtec auto.

Sounds more like something with the selector switch-inside the center consol? Do the other (D3, D2, ect) do the same. No uncommon for something to get spilled in there and "gum" things up.
To be sure, check the Common DIY THreads at the top for a "how to" on getting the codes....does not sound like anything major, this would confirm.
