I recently went through an ECU trouble shoot, with a local shop and the dealer, we thought the ECU was the problem to begin with and moving forward due to bad or literally zero communication with the ECU found that the problem was from a loose ground wire. Has any work been done on your car? If so, I would definitely look over that work to find any other potential problem causers. If the ECU is a definite problem, I would look to get a junk yard ECU- I got mine for $144.50 which was better than the dealer price of $890. LOL. My problem was found to be a loose ground connection- that when tightened- restored communications to their full power. The dealer went ahead and flashed over the new ECU since it was bolted in, but I wish they hadnt since it wasnt the problem. Now, I have a spare, which is good I guess. Good luck!

Haha, if you saw my car. Its nothing but grounds :P

But I can double check just to be sure but it seems like thats not the issue since the reference wire to the chassis ground and the sensor ground are both 4.99 volts. Are you talking about the g101 or the actual ecu ground?

The ground that was the problem for mine was the throttle body ground, so I imagine they all could keep the ECU from communicating correctly. I would check them all, its just a few minutes and could save you substantial money. I spent $700 on figuring mine out! Hope it works better for you! Let me know what the final solution is!

Yup. From what I've done so far I think itll end up being a junkyard ECU. Ive been paying a lot of attention to the electrical.
Thanks for the advice. Ill take a look around the wires.
