You should have to remove some covers on the 4 corners to access a bolt holding the seat to the floor. Unplug the electrical connectors and that is it.

Dear PAhonda;395279
Thank you for the info. Much appreciated your prompt reply.
I have had my Honda since new, but I regret to say that there has never been any covers at the 4 points you mentioned.
Do you mean there's no bolts, or just that there's no covers?
Here's the components of a front seat (US Acura TSX which should be pretty much the same as a Eu Accord). The rails at the bottom are held down by 4 bolts #35. The rear ones have nuts #50 and the front bolts screw into captive nuts in the floor.

Thank you Jim for your reply.
The 4 mounting bolts fastening the seat to the floor were never supplied with covers.
From reading various reports, it seemed to me that at these fixing points, standard covers were fitted over the 4 holding down bolts.
However, with no covers to remove, removing the seat is much easier.
My reason to remove seats is so I may be able to lift the seat up 30mm or so as I have suffered shrinking of my spine in the past couple of years.
Are you aware of any custom spacers sourced from Honda which I could purchase to raise the height of the drivers seat?
I'm not aware of anything like that from Honda. I'm guessing they can't officially offer something like that without all kinds of collision-safety testing.
