My Daughter has a 2014 Ex with 6cyl engine with a 6 speed automatic.
She is in Ohio and I am in Florida so unable to help her.
Her Accord drivers door stopped working as far as opening she took to nearest dealer and they charged her $700 to fix the problem which they told her was the actuator. I am looking at the forum and see that many have reported similar problems.
Has anybody reported this to NHTSA yet ? Seems like this could be a safety issue if the door doesn’t operate in the event of a crash.

 

Not sure if car owner's or repair shops report to the NHTSA. Their site may have some statistics on complaints filed on that model accord.
