Default Driver's side power window stopped working

The window is part way down, but won't move in either direction. The other windows still work OK. Any ideas on what might be the problem?

Is there a way to manually close the window?

The #30 fuse is intact, so I assume it is either the motor or the regulator. I see that Advance sells a motor+regulator assembly which I suppose might be the best option on a car this old(?). Does anyone have experience with replacing these two components? Are they fairly easy to access once the door trim is removed, or am I better off taking it to a shop?

i have a similar problem with my 91. mine will go an inch down then stop. but goes back up.

I believe the motor/regulator assembly isn't hard to replace. the regulator unbolts from the window and comes down to unbolt from the door. The motor shouldn't be complicated either.

Then reverse to put back.

don't jump the gun and start replacing parts,, you need to diagnose, it could also be a bad switch, sometimes the contacts in the switch get corroded and window will stop working..
so once door panel is off, see if you are getting power at the window motor ,,
if no power switch or wiring could be the issue ,,if you get power most likely motor is issue,,
