I drive 1992 accord. I was looking at the cheap short ram intakes on ebay and i was wondering if they are any good. Has anyone on here ever put one on their 92 accord. Do they make anymore power or do they just make a better sound????

 

they arent bad, I would recommend getting a high quality cone filter to put on it however such as K&N or AEM. But other than that a pipes pretty much a pipe. They technically gain horsepower.........will it be noticeable............no.

 

X2 o ebay pipe,and K&N AEM filter... You will not notice any outstanding gain in HP,or MPG.. But you will hear your intake sucking in the air alot louder

 

Will it damge my engine. Will i have to change anything else on my car. Somepeople say i might have to change the Mass air flow sensor or somthing

 

no it wont damage the engine, and you dont have to change anything because hondas use a mass air flow not a map sensor.

 

No, What you do is take out your stock intake and put the new intake in...connecting all hoses of course.. No changing or modifying MAF.
