eBrake light stays on, and passenger window won't go down.
Hey guys, i'm new to the forum and i've been looking around the web for some help and fixes for my car, but i cant really find the right solutions so i created an account for the forum to try and learn. So i recently noticed the ebrake light being constantly on and i figured it was a fuse or something but that wouldn't really make sense cause it would be off instead of on so i'm not sure of what is wrong. And today i noticed that my passenger window wont go down. When i try to make it go down with the switches from my side all i hear is a clicking sound coming from the switch on the passenger side. If that makes any sense. I checked the interior fuse box but the it wasn't burnt so i'm not sure of what the problem is. Could it be the motor?

I'd call these two different issues, so we are going to have to be clear on which we are working on.
First, check the brake fluid level in the master cyl. Next the "float" inside the master can get stuck - does the light turn off if you remove the wires from the mast cyl cap?

I had a similar issue, my ebrake light would stay on, slight squel only in reverse for a few seconds, and after a month or so of this my trac control light would come on and it didnt work. turned out one of the two rear caliper slide pins was rusted and stuck and somehow it damaged the rear caliper. I had to replace the caliper and the light went away.
