ecu problems
Hey everybody this is only my second post so bare with me here, but I have a 96 accord ex f22b1 with an auto to manual swap, bien level 2 cam, and f23 intake manifold swap. I recently bought a chipped p28 ecu tuned to my build but when I plug it up it gives me a code 9 and code 22. Both of which do not appear to have any problems with stock ecu connected. Would just like to hear some opinions on this, or any possible tests I can preform to diagnose the problem, thanks.
The 96 is an OBD-II car - most tuned/chipped ECU's are for OBD-I cars.
I talked to my local tuner and I can get the code 22 disabled for cheap. And he told me that I need to get a obd1 distributor from the junkyard hook it up and wire my existing crank sensor into it to fix the code 9. Will this work if so how would I wire that? And if not what are some other options?
Wiring:
BTW, a typo in my prior post: it's not crankshaft position sensor, it's cylinder position sensor.
