Electrical question
I'm trying to get the fog/driving lights on my 1990 Accord LX to work. Popped the dash switch out and took it to Autozone for testing; it was good. There is no power to the switch. I couldn't find a fuse that was bad. What would kill power to the switch?

RE: Electrical question
I just used a two prong, red/black pocket sized circuit tester, not a voltmeter (first mistake?). I poked the two leads every which way to every combination of the plug holes, and no light, so I assumed there was no power to the switch (second mistake?). Electrical work is not my forte, obviously....

RE: Electrical question
Don't worry, electrical is not my forte either. The black (-) wire coming from the connector, follow it. It should bolt down to the metal dash frame along with a ton of other ground wires (like 10 or so at each bolt).
Alternatively, put the red (+) prong on the positive wire going into the switch and then put the black (-) on a part of the dash frame or find a set of grounds.
