Default Engine Starts then dies immediately

Today my 1998 v6 accord auto transmission, started having an issue where it will start but will not stay running. It has never done this before. It will stay running if I press on the gas but as soon as I start to release the gas it shuts off. Before this occurred my car would occasionally shake pretty hard when idling. Any ideas of why this could be happening?

Idle air control valve has some vacuum lines that must be tested to confirm it's working correctly. Yours is likely not working correctly allowing engine to idle so low that it quits (lack of air). A shop manual has details of vacuum line checks (automanualsource.com if you don't have one).

It may help/fix to simply clean throttle plate (both sides) and throttle bore carefully w/ throttle body cleaner.

good luck

Is the CEL on?

What is the age of the tune up items.

A good cleaning of the TB never hurts.

EDIT: Slow typing again I see TX posted while I was typing.
