Car starts then immediately dies within seconds
New to the forums as well.....
I have been having an ongoing issue with my 1994 Accord EX MT 120000 miles.
Car will turn over fine and run for about 1-3 seconds and then dies. After a mechanic took a look at it and check all the fuses, relays and such, he narrowed it down to the fuel pump after me trying to start it and him spraying into the intake it sputtered and what not. I acquired a fuel pump and also changed the filter in the process. Car ran fine for a couple of days and then the problem reoccurred.

When car dies, notice whether Alt, Check Engine, and Oil Pressure lights are On or Off. If they are Off, the keyswitch assy is the problem.
If lights come on when engine dies, and engine will immediately restart fuel delivery problem is likely. Does the car always start, run 1-3 secs and die, or sometimes won't start?
Listen carefully when you turn keyswitch to On. You should hear Main Fuel Relay under the dash (soft click) and fuel pump come on and run for 2-3 secs, and cut-off. Check Engine Light and fuel pump go off at same time.
Report back on above and we'll go from there.
good luck

Update....problem is still occurring...I do hear all of the above sounds that I need to hear..problem is becoming intermittent. Usually starts fine in the morning(usually around 3:30 am when I go to work) and the problem happens as I get ready to leave to come home(10-11am) So yes it does sometimes start fine. Yesterday i took about an hour of trying to get it to start and it started once, ran for almost a minute and then died. kept trying and it finally started and was able to make it home.
Also all of the above lights you mention are staying on(Alt, Check Engine, and Oil Pressure lights )

We're already making progress!
We know it's not the Main Fuel Relay (MFR) or ignition switch assy. You need to continue to listen for MFR and fuel pump when no-start condition is present to be sure that is not the problem.
If you're sure of your checks, that leaves an ignition problem as most likely. If you have a timing light w/ inductive pickup, attach pickup to one spark plug lead and check for light flashing when engine is turned over. No flash means no spark. Alternatively, you can pull a spark plug lead, attach a spark plug, ground the plug and check "in-air". This is not as demanding a test as air gap resistance is lower than compressed air in cylinder.
Post your results for next step.
good luck

Done all of the above and problems is still intermittent Started yesterday both time in the morning and coming home.....Happened today again and started after about 45 minutes of trying. The only Light that stays on is the "Check Engine" light once vehicle is running. Also Pulled all of the plugs and checked then as well....They were a bit gunky but cleaned em up for a temporary fix till payday. Could this problem be from what ever code is in the system? I would love to take it to the local auto zone for a test but fear of getting stranded there.....
Oh also, the ODO and Trip stopped working all of a sudden as well

You checked for spark (how?) when no-start condition was present and spark was good?
AZ can't read codes on a 94, but you can. See DIY Forum for guidance on reading OBD1 codes.
Sometimes trip and odo can be restored by a firm thump on the gauge panel. gears stick.
good luck

For the trip and odo, give the trip reset several pushes. That will also free up the gears-been there done that one myself.
As stated the CEL codes might be of some help "The only Light that stays on is the "Check Engine" light once vehicle is running."?.....a code 15 would be a good example.
