Just wanted to update you guys. That weird noise that I was hearing in the driver's footwell has stopped. Weird.

My car is now at 61,270 miles. I bought the car used (out of a Chevy dealership) with 15,000 miles. It was a one owner car and the guy hardly drove it.

So far, my 06 Accord SE has been reliable as heck and no major issues have surfaced. The only annoying thing is that there the radio, if left on when turning off the car, will take a long time to emit sound. I need to make sure to TURN OFF the radio before shutting off the car.

Go figure.

At any rate, I love my Accord and have meticulous about its maintenance. I hope to have this sucker running to 200,000 miles at least.

Good thing that you weren't forced to replace LSD. If everything else, other than radio, is working, i would drive the car until something major is gone south.

Let us know what they find out.
Well, they couldn't replicate the noise and couldn't find anything wrong with the CV joints. The guy is adamant that it's probably the LSD under certain situations. So no go on whatever is going on. Oh well.
