F22B2 Transmission Swap
I'm looking to swap out the tranny on my 97 Accord LX for something that will hold power a little bit better.
My question is this: Would my engine be compatible with any H series transmissions, and further more would it make sense to swap them out in terms of durability/ability to hold power?
I appreciate any advice I can get on this

Just under 200, but I'm looking to put a bit more in over time and I don't want to deal with multiple tranny swaps.
I know they're pretty limited in differences but I've heard the H series hold up better under higher torque and I'm just about matching my torque to my power. Can't lie though, I'm not that experienced so I don't know how true these claims are. Just figured I'd give it a go if it's easy enough.
Are the H series tranny's pretty much plug and play or are there any problems I may run into during the installation?

Yeah they swap right in, clutch and flywheel are the same, axles too.
The h series have a lot shorter gearing. I know the LSD in the m2B4 LSD H22 transmission is only good to about 250hp.
But neither tranny will have an issue with 200hp.

Yes sir it is a manual.
That's good to hear. The shorter gearing is actually the thing that made me realistically interested in the swap. The gearing on the F22 tranny kind of kills the bottom end which is a bummer for a car with so much relative torque.
Now my question is whether I go with the H22 or H23 tranny because if I'm not mistaken the H23 has shorter gears than the H22 but I don't know how much shorter relative to the F22 and I don't want to kill my top end too bad.
